    2. Complete the Certificate Request Form, and attach your student list.

    Important Notes

    • IEC National is happy to share two options for chapters to receive certificates
      • At this time, only digital Certificates (PDF) are being offered. Requested certificates will be sent via email, which then can be printed directly for faster turnaround.
      • To ensure we do not miss your request, please submit all requests (even if only needing 1 certificate) through the Certificate Request Form.

Please ensure your mailing address is current so there is no delay in getting your certificates.

National Standardized Tests

IEC has designed standardized written tests to be used at the end of each apprentice year to ensure the essential knowledge and objectives were obtained by students. The national test allows for programs to share data to adapt or modify the curriculum, while also adjusting the presentation methods used in the classroom.

The standardized tests are:

  • Comprehensive (east test will adequately represent material from the start of the year to the end of the year being tested).
  • Derived from the IEC National four-year curriculum and test bank.
  • Provided by IEC National Apprenticeship and Training Test Group.
  • Used to make I modifications to the tests and the four-year program.

Demonstration of Skills

Separate from the standardized tests, a demonstration of skills is required at the end of each year. These hands-on activities allow the apprentice to show their knowledge and competency on these skills. Chapters can either test these tasks at the end of the year, or throughout the year after the concepts have been taught.
