  • Idaho (6.14)

 

The top paying states for electricians (annual mean wage) are:

  • District of Columbia ($88,860)
  • Washington ($88,620)
  • Hawaii ($88,280)
  • Illinois ($88,040)
  • Oregon ($85,330)

 

The top five metropolitan areas with the highest employment level for electricians (number of employees) are:

  • New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA (39,310)
  • Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX (19,600)
  • Los Angeles-Long Beach- Anaheim, CA (19,520)
  • Dallas-Ft. Worth-Arlington, TX (18,730)
