Nashville, TN, October 6, 2025 – The Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 IEC National Excellence in Electrical Construction Awards. These prestigious awards were presented during SPARK: The Electrician’s Expo in Phoenix, Arizona.
The awards honor IEC contractor member companies that have demonstrated superior quality, innovation, and craftsmanship in their electrical or systems construction projects. Winners were selected from projects completed between July 16, 2024, and July 15, 2025, regardless of the start date.
“We are incredibly proud to honor these award-winning projects and the contractors behind them,” said Amy Biedenharn, IEC Executive Director. “Their dedication, innovation, and commitment to the merit shop philosophy showcase the very best of our industry. These companies prove every day that hard work and craftsmanship drive excellence in electrical construction.”
An esteemed panel of electrical industry leaders, including Allan Matsuo, Jim MacMurdo, David Hittinger, Lowell Reith, Tyler Hughes, Warren Clemons, and Ryan Steed, carefully evaluated the submissions, ensuring that each project was judged on its merits, craftsmanship, and impact on the community.
